My second experimental gundam building project. got this model from Glory System Enterprise at Endah Parade, Sri Petaling. a very good hobby shop. one should go and visit the shop~
Did custom colouration to this model kit. painted the white parts with red and that was all i did for my big 'custom colouration'. as u can see in the picture, i used my trusty Bandai modeling tool kit and a hobby knife. can't imagine building a gundam model kit without these tools~
Hand-painted the kit. saw a lot of awesomely build model kits on the web just by hand-painting. decided to do that as well. bought Mr.Hobby paint together with the kit. but, i used industrial thinner to dilute the colour with. i wanted to give it another try but using different type of application (hand-paint instead of airbrush) since my first experience in my MG Gundam RX-79 Ez-8 project came out looking quite good. seriously, it was a big mistake. during application, the paint mix immediately melted the plastic. but there's no turning back. i got to finish what i started even if it means destroying the kit (quite sad to go with the decision of using industrial thinner). finish the kit with Mr.Hobby flat topcoat~
